I think that my choices and actions do effect other people because I could help the people in need or I could leave them to bad health.

This was one of my favorite stories ever. I think it was a really good book because it talks about a dad trying to save many people and trying to help his family. If I were in that situation I would try to help other people but i would also try to help my family. I think that is a important to have a situation like that in your live.

My actions can effect someone else’s life because if someone is on the streets begging for food and i give them a big supplies of food then i could have just saved someone’s whole life and their children’s life.

Consider this: Do your DAILY actions and choices affect someone else’s life? I am not even referring to doing something charitable. I am referring to the decisions you make on a daily basis – at home, at school, in a store, on the ballpark, affect someone else’s life? Give examples to support your reason(s).

I think my actions and choices affect other people because whenever I see a homeless person T feel really sorry for them. Sometimes I feel so sorry for them that I give them a blanket or some money. I think that action and choice affected that homeless person.

Truthfully I didn’t like the story. I don’t really know why but I don’t really like reading about slavery and things like that! I do think that my actions do affect people in ways, good and bad. Sometimes I am selfish and I don’t think about others first so that effects them in many ways. But when I am nice (kind of always to friends but not to brother!) I am always trying to help when someone like friends when they are in need of help or needs to be cheered up and that helps them emotionally. In my everyday life I don’t help the poor and I don’t help people in need like people in Africa. But a when my mom used to work in the mall I would take some coins and donate them to the kids that are blind and things like that. My dad used to work with a guy that is still alive and he had cancer and I was sort of close to him but I would always give at least $1 to the people with cancer. Some days my mom gives me money to do little sorts of things like that but this is not daily!!!( I do care though)!!!

A choice that I make that affects someone’s life is when I give money to the Cancer Society, to help find a cure, or donate to Toys For Tots. I don’t do these things daily, but I do when I get the chance.

My actions do affect other people, for example, when I get gas from the gas station I take gas away from everyone in the world.

  9.   jordiegirl Says:

My daily actions do affect other people, even the money I spend! The money could help build a hospital, or it could go to someone very greedy. The amount of water I use affects other people, too. It affects my mom, who pays the water bill, and it affects my brothers, to see if they get any hot water or not. I loved this book, because it proved that one person by himself could save millions of lives, and the lives that would soon be born.
